These two were so much fun to work with! I knew right away when I met them at a coffee shop in Concord, NC, that Sunday afternoon that we would not only be planning their wedding together but would become great friends! Courney and Jose are two very passionate lovers of classic rock, their dogs, and their family heritage. Their beautiful September wedding at Historic Ritchie Hill in Concord combined a romantic feel with modern touches. With a color palette of blush pink, green, navy, and white, these two said "I Do" in the shade of the oak trees surrounded by over 100 friends and family. During the ceremony they had a unity moment where they planted and watered seeds, a symbol of their new beginning as husband and wife, growing together over time. For the reception they were right on trend having a myriad of succulents and birchwood chargers that gave a light and airy feel to the table settings. Most of their family members are from the Midwest, so they treated them to a Southern-style buffet dinner and gave jars of local honey as favors. The couple's two loves, their pups Zane and Mel, were brought in for family photos after the ceremony to the delight of everyone. They celebrated with their guests late into the evening with desserts and dancing. The DJ even played tunes that were a nod to Jose's Mexican roots. I wish these two the very best and know that they will be dancing and laughing together as perfect partners in life!
