Historic Langtree Plantation in Mooresville, NC, was the site of Aileen and Mike's gorgeous rustic wedding day. Surrounded by beautiful oak trees on this warm June afternoon, this Lake Norman gal and Pittsburgh guy said "I do" surrounded by over 100 friends and family. Aileen and Mike were so relaxed, just laughing and having the best time on their big day! The ceremony was held in the Langtree barn with beautiful hanging lanterns and baby's breath lining the aisle. The bride's mother walked her down the aisle. The reception was held in the indoor pavilion and guests were treated to a Southern-style buffet. Soft pinks and ivories filled the room. The table centerpieces were a nod to the bride's late father - stacked books from his library were used to elevate the florals on each table. The groom's mother outdid herself with over 1000 handmade cookies for the traditional Pittsburgh Cookie Table display. Guests were treated to a variety of cookies that they could take home in cute favor bags. No traditional cake for these two! Instead they chose their favorite dessert, Krispy Kreme Donuts, which were a huge hit among guests. Such a beautiful, fun couple and what an honor to witness their amazing day!
